On the course conventional golf attire including tailored shorts with sports socks are acceptable while soft spike golf shoes must be worn. The following items of attire are not acceptable: Jeans. Track suits. Vests or sun tops. Football or rugby style shirts, t-shirts or collarless shirts. Branded collarless golf apparel is acceptable. Non-tailored shorts including cargo shorts – the latter are generally khaki shorts with cargo pockets stitched to the outside of the fabric and are distinctive because the pockets are accompanied by an overlying flap. Football or beach shorts. Sandals, trainers or metal spike golf shoes. If you are wearing a hat then the hat should be worn with the peak facing to the front please. Below are examples of what are considered to be acceptable golfing apparel as well as examples of unacceptable apparel when on the golf course. In the Clubhouse proper golf attire or smart casual wear are acceptable. The following items are not considered acceptable: Jeans/Denims - tie dyed, cut or torn and ragged end denim trousers. Clean and presentable denim trousers will be permitted. Tracksuits. Vests or sun tops. Football or rugby style shirts, t-shirts or collarless shirts. Branded collarless golf apparel is acceptable. Non-tailored shorts. Golf shoes are not permitted on the upper floor of the Clubhouse. Hats must not be worn on the upper floor of the Clubhouse.
