Victory for Mike Quinn.

Congratulations to Mike Quinn who had a wonderful 2&1 win on Saturday when playing for the Leinster Boys against the Munster Boys. The match which took place in Callan was won overall by Leinster on a 6-2 scoreline.
After a nervous opening hole which he lost Mike settled to his task. After 6 holes he was 2 down with his opponent 2 under par gross for the 6 holes. Unphased Mike set about his task and chalked up a number of birdies of his own turning a 2 hole deficit into a 2 hole lead and he eventually finished out the match on the 17th green.
Well done Mike we are all very proud of your achievement.
